Cactus and Succulent Society of New Zealand Inc.


The Cactus and Succulent Society of New Zealand is dedicated to growing, studying and sharing of cactus and other succulent plants (our Constitution 3.48Mb PDF).

Formed in 1948 , it now has 450 members in a network of 10 branches.

The Phyllis Bruce Award of Merit recipients and Life members of the CSSNZ.

Benefits of membership of CSSNZ

Members receive a quarterly journal containing articles from local and overseas cactus and succulent growers and writers.

Members can attend the AGM/Conference, hosted by different branch each year.

Members get the first chance to buy from the society seedbank at a reduced rate ($2/packet) before it is released to the general public.
